Actually watched the full length version of this and it's a lot scarier then funny. These people were lucky to receive minor injuries as a result of this. It actually looked like a mechanical failure somewhere in the throttle assembly. But he never should have been hot rodding around with 6 standing passengers. I'd be the guy in the back sitting where the least amount of swing in the fulcrum takes place.

I learned my lesson the hard way riding passenger with an inexperienced boat owner. He was spooked by an oncoming wave and instead of maintaining speed over the wave he freaked and slammed off the throttle, digging the bow right into the face of the wave and throwing me almost right out of the boat.
