Hobies molded in rod holders

not a fan? cut em out and put in deeper flush mounts. This one had cracked from the extension being too tight so I offered up swapping them out on this Outback.

Good idea. Just picked up a new outback yesterday and that might have to be one of my new projects. After I fix the fish finder issue.

Are these angled outboard somewhat so that two trolling rods don't sit parallel? It looks like they are. That's what annoys me about the molded in holders, the lines get twisted together and then get hung up in the rudder. Do you think it works on a Revo?
