I gave my wife an early Christmas present.
I think she was happy Well at least she didn't kill me for getting a fourth kayak. My X-Factor is stored on my truck all the time. If I kept it on the standard rack and saddles it would get flat spots on the keel or hull. I made an 8ft. aluminum rack that has a conformal foam cradle to support the hull. My kayak has been on the rack all summer with no ill effects. There is also a hull roller on the back of the rack to make loading the kayak easier.
