2014 HOW Benefit Raffle

As many of you have seen on Facebook and at Fred Hall the 2014 HOW benefit raffle kayak presented by OEX/KFSupplies is now Live for online ticket sales.

This boat and all its rigging is 100% donated and so all of the money from ticket sales goes straight to HOW in the SoCal area along with our NorCal brothers.

This kayak will be at Fred Hall Del Mar, Day at the Docks, the OEX MB tournament, and the Rockfish Derby. It is one heck of a package and it all supports one heck of a cause.

I stopped by the booth, chatted with Matt and Andy, and made a donation; it sure does look like a sweet ride.

Correct, you can buy tickets at the Del Mar Fred Hall Show also. The kayak will be there so you can see it in person and drool over it. I you can't make it to the shows the easiest way to buy your tickets will be online through the kayakfishingsupplies.com store with the following direct link.

Folks just FYI Paypal has made us remove the raffle boat from the online store. We are working on another way to take ticket sales online however for now tickets can be bought at OEX Mission Bay or you cna contact me directly to purchase tickets without visiting the store.

Also stay tuned for the boat to make a tour around town. Working on a few locations to set up and sell tickets before the end of the raffle.

And the winner is.....

Hey folks the raffle drawing was done this morning so that we were able to input all last minute tickets into the spreadsheet.

This year was successful in raising over 3700.00 for HOW. Not as High as we have seen in the past however online ticket sales were hindered due to a policy from Paypal stopping that. We will search for new options next year for this.

The Random number generator that has been used each year was once again put to work. The number it spit out can be seen below (Number 180). This corresponds to our sheets from Fred Hall meaning that the winner is a local angler by the name of Jared. We have contacted the winner to claim his prize.

Thank you all for your support of HOW this year. The growth this chapter is experiencing this year is great and the support from this community is very much needed and appreciated.

Thanks to all who entered, we hope you will take part again in 2015!

Yeah, He has already started. I let him use my X13 and I use my older X Factor. Now I'm going to have to see if he'll let me borrow his SWEET new Jackson kayak once in a while.
