In Remembrance of David Voigt

On Monday March 3rd, our son was sadly taken from us by a drunk driver while riding his bike home from work in Chula Vista. David Voigt was an avid kayak fisherman. He was a great husband, father, brother, and my favorite fishing partner. He will be dearly missed by many. This 38 lb. halibut was caught at the mouth of San Diego Bay with me after an hour fight with the gaff left in the truck.

My deepest condolences. I hate hearing of a good persons life cut short by such a stupid, inconsiderate act as drinking and driving. My prayers with you and your family.

Sorry for your loss. Things like this wrench my stomach. Sad thing is that I bet the DD is still around.

A parent having to bury their kid is just plain unnatural and goes totally against the laws of nature. I can't imagine the grief nor do I ever want to experience it.
May God bless you and the family and please let the BWE community know if there is anything we can do.
