Don't put all your Crabs in 1 pot.

Tony and I got together today to try to get some Crabbing video. If it had not been so foggy, we might have seen the stars align above.

Good footage. Tony was telling me that his footage looks like there was a wrestling match going on in the net. I wish I could have gone out with you guys but I was too busy cooking 21 crabs last night for the family. It was pretty funny watching everyone eat them, no napkins, no plates, no manners................good times!!!! Everyone really enjoyed them.

Lobster is officially over-rated.

I totally disagree...

Crabs are too much work. Not only do you have to go deep to get them, but then you have to deal with preparing them. It's not worth the hassle.

I'll just stick with lobster

Same time and place next week?

crabs

Cool Spider Crab shots Greg and Tony.
Was the net attached to the yak the whole time? Is that why it jumped up a few times? The Crabs didn't seem to mind.
Here's another hoop video, a visit from everybody buddy...Bubba himself!

No not connected...the tag line wrapped around the mainline...and with the swell lifted everything.

My footage is coming up, just have to render and upload...

Great footage!
It appears that a flat net would be more effective than the conicals for crabs
It's amazing how many visitors you had, yet came up empty
That one spider crab was a big one

How many feet of water do you guys typically do hoopin?

That big snow crab looked worth dragging a pony bottle out and droppin' in for a quick hiya crabby. But, I guess not everyone has video assist!

Cool footage...

I officially hate spider crabs...

The regular crabs don't seem to be afraid of the spider crabs. I thought they would be.

I tried it at my sisters pool in about 8' and lost the signal, if I recall I was losing the signal after about 3-5'. I didn't play with it to much, once I lost the signal I just gave up. I believe Greg tried it once and I think he had the same results.
