New Personal Best Hali

Just kidding

Just wanted to remind everyone that the end of 2013 is right around the corner. Order your 2014 license now and you'll have it in your mailbox in the next 2-3 weeks.....maybe sooner. I ordered mine a few minutes ago using the online service which is pretty easy to use, it only takes a few minutes to get it ordered.

https://www.ca.wildlifelicense.com/InternetSales/

P.S.
Do not forget to add the Ocean Enhancement stamp.

Don't forget that your lobster reports cards are good through next year. If I remember correctly there was a cutoff date for you to qualify for this, I think you have to had purchased your report card after a certain month but I can't remember what that month was/is.........

The second rod stamp is not needed for ocean fishing. Don't forget the ocean enhancement stamp, you have to have this.

Validations and Report Cards

Title Fee Description
Ocean Enhancement Validation $5.14 Required for all persons taking fish in ocean waters south of Point Arguello (Santa Barbara County). An Ocean Enhancement Validation is not required when fishing under the authority of a One or Two-Day Sport Fishing License.
Second Rod Validation $14.30 Required for all persons taking fish with two rods or lines in inland waters, except for waters in which only artificial lures or barbless hooks may be used.
Colorado River Validation
Discontinued for 2014.
Abalone Report Card $22.17 Required for all persons taking abalone from ocean waters north of the center of the mouth of San Francisco Bay, including persons who are not required to have a sport fishing license, such as persons who are under 16 years of age, persons who are fishing from a public pier and persons who are fishing on free fishing days. Only one Abalone Report Card may be issued per person each license year.
Sturgeon Fishing Report Card $8.13 Required for all persons taking sturgeon, including persons who are not required to have a sport fishing license, such as persons who are under 16 years of age, persons who are fishing from a public pier and persons who are fishing on free fishing days. Only one Sturgeon Fishing Report Card may be issued per person each year.
North Coast Salmon Report Card $6.22 Required for all persons taking salmon in the Smith River System or Klamath-Trinity River System, including persons who are not required to have a sport fishing license, such as persons who are under 16 years of age, and persons who are fishing on free fishing days.
Steelhead Report Card $7.05 Required for all persons taking steelhead in inland waters, including persons who are not required to have a sport fishing license, such as persons who are under 16 years of age, and persons who are fishing on free fishing days.
Spiny Lobster Report Card $9.46 Required for all persons taking spiny lobster including persons who are not required to have a sport fishing license, such as persons who are under 16 years of age, persons who are fishing from a public pier and persons who are fishing on free fishing days.

Spiny Lobster Report Cards issued after August 1, 2013 will be valid for the entire lobster season (September 28, 2013 through March 19, 2014). Report cardholders who fail to return their 2013-2014 Full Season Spiny Lobster Report Card or report their harvest online by the April 30, 2014 deadline will be assessed a $20 non-return fee when they purchase a spiny lobster report card for the 2014-2015 season. For more information on 2013-2014 Spiny Lobster Report Cards, view the Spiny Lobster Report Card comparison chart.

BUMP...........................2014 is around the corner. Don't get caught with your pants down. That is unless you're fishing around, near or in the vicinity of Team Sewer.
