This is nice, a kayak designed for both big water fishing and speed.

Where are you taking suggestions for when you get to the deck design process?

Good luck with this, it sounds great.

That's way cool Jim! Jackson sure hooked up with the right guy.
Looks like you were serious about getting the tat right after we got off the Islander. Looks great. Charles has some skills for sure.

Very nice! Great that Jackson is designing a yak based on your years of expertise fishing our waters, and the ink job ain't bad either.

If I can have one thing on my wish list is that the new vessel be kind on those of us with bad backs (i.e. keep the weight reasonable).

If you guys can keep the pastime centered around car-topping capabilities, you will be saving parking lot space by foregoing the need for a trailer.

Instead of the trend of widening yaks for stability during stand-up angling situations, perhaps you can design modular outriggers that can be added of removed to serve this purpose. It's hard to please everyone, so why not have a unit that is flexible?

Thanks.

This will not be a stand up kayak, except for the very agile.
Scotty does make some aftermarket outriggers/stabilizers that I have used that work very well.
