Bacon wrapped dove is just a start. I like to wrap them in bacon then wrap in jalapeño, then cover with a mountian of pepperjack cheese.

I hunted dove once. Got a limit.

Took em home cooked them up...

Tasted them....

Looked at the dog....

That dog ate good.

I guess if you cover em up with a bunch of cheese or something....

So is this a drive down trip or a mother ship trip? Original post isnt clear on that...
Isla San Martin is only a 3 mile paddle off the beach, but it would be a tough launch especially in a PA.

Danjor, the fish around socorro can be HUGH, 50 lbs PLUS and lot's of kelp so be prepaired!

BT, how close is the island to the beach? Looked to be 8-10 miles out to me, but I am old and going blind. Yes drive down. 4 anglers on a panga would be $320, so breaks down to $80 each. It's mexico so camp on the beach or get a room and meals for under $50 a day. It is up to you. If you leave from the launch ramp at the old mill it is 21 miles to the island each way.

There is passable road that goes out to the end of the S.Q.bay where one could camp and launch also. Plus you'd be right near the bait grounds and the WSB!

Dorado50, you should join us, your knowledge of the area would help us all.

Danjor, split the gas with a friend or two, sure someone would like to ride along with you or give you a ride.

Should be a GREAT Biscut hunt!
