How not to fish for a shark on a yak

Has anybody else seen this???

I was waiting for this moment the entire video. For a second, I thought he was going to try to pull that thing across his lap by how he was handling it. Something about pulling a shark out of the water like that just screams "don't" in my head.

Shake its head and burry that hook deep into his leg or elbow or the hook pop free and burry itself into his leg or arm.... Didn't like how he pulled the shark out of water from the leader....

This guy is a pro! Great demonstration on what not to do. I like how he purposely flipped his kayak and got back on. He has probably caught hundreds of these sharks.

i definitely agree with righting the yak in safe waters and being comfortable with it.
from righting pwc, i climb on the hull, grab far handle and slide back into water, all but 8 secs. i rolled doing a MORE rookie maneuver in larger swell, was back in no time at all. (different yaks may be different to right, but still don't know how it took him 3min.)
