Sure we were. There were at least six sport boats and 20 private boats...mex navy (politely) evicted all of us. I case you didn't follow the drama, last year they did the same thing...requiring a form that does not exist where a mexican fishing license and passport has always been the requirement.
This started as a butt hurt by the sporties in Ensinada who want the American boats to go into ensenada first and pay the harbor fee. Of course, you can't do that on a 3/4 day trip and still have time to fish. Now they are booting the private boats as well. Oh...by the way, I will have absolutely no problem with them taking a zero-tolerance stance on any policy they want...as long as we take the same approach - no illegal drivers license, no illegal college tuition, no illegal health care, etc. |
