Talking Kokatat A+++++ Service

I sent my pants in for some repairs.......the response says it all

Hi Jorge,

After inspecting the pants you sent in we have found a warranty issue developing with the fabric. We found the layers of fabric to be delaminating and as a result we’d like to replace these pants under warranty at no charge to you with a brand new pair identical to what you sent in. I will wait until I hear back from you before I place the order for the new pants. Can you also please confirm your phone number in case the courier needs to contact you for any reason.

Thank you,

Kokatat Water Sports Inc.

So there sending you a new Pair like the old ones...... Sweet... What a great warranty.

It took a long to put all those stains and smells in the old ones I wonder how they will reproduce those???

They are transferring the stains and smell from the old ones to the new ones. I had to pay $20 for this process.

The best comment about my pants came from a fellow kayaker who fished less than a handful of times per year

Kayaker: dude! Why are your pants so dirty?
Me: huh?
Kayaker: your waders are all stained, why are they so dirty
Me: its called fishing

Always good to hear about excellent customer service. But, I'm also glad to know that someone else has dirty duds too.

description please

what model do you have ? are they the ones with velcro bottoms ? i have a really nice top made from them . also a set of bottoms , but i do not use them as i prefer waders with boots . have not had any issues with top which has seen a fair amount of use . thanks for information .

Yeah - I had sent my pants to them thinking I had a leak - they checked it out said there wasn't a problem - sent them back to me - no charge.

Nothing like old fish clothes. Right there on that stain...scratch it, now sniff it, that was my halibut. Now scratch right there, White Sea Bass...

When someone has squid stains on the underside of their ball cap's lid...they got shot in the face...I know from experience...

It's transferring the stains and smell from the INSIDE of the old ones to the new ones that I'd be worried about

I told them to transfer the ball sweat from my pants to Roby's Buff.
