I have a 2000 battle and love it. I have yet to put my hands on a legion rod because no one stocks them locally. The drag on the battle is incredible. It's the first quality spinner I've owned. I love how it doesn't matter how soft or hard the drag is set it is smoooooooooooth with out any of that annoying sketchy bumpy stop and go the cheap reals have.

I took you guys advise. Just got home from bass pro......that was a looooong drive. Picked up a 2000 & 3000. Also picked 2 Legion rods. The guy at bass pro told me the reels are great. Now I'll have to see for myself how the rods perform. They also carry the carnage rods, I may have pick up another battle in 6000 or 7000 and try that in the open water..... Now if I can just catch something.....

I have the Battle Series from 2000-6000. I religiously use the 3000-5000. The 2000 is not a necessity but it is fun to use. I highly recommend!
