Fishing on Wednesday Who's headed out?

I'm going down to San Diego tonight to spend the night at a friends house and then I'm headed out in the morning to fish. I'm thinking about launching from Shelter Island.

Anybody else going to be out? Going to be my first times on the salt on the Yak.
No fish finder... D'oh! So I'll be running a little blind.

SD Bay is an easy place to fish with out electronics. If you launch from Tidelands you can literally catch fish anywhere. If you launch from SI, then you can hit the shoals on both ends of the peninsula and fish outside the boats for bass. You can also head west towards the bait barge and look for some halibut.

Thanks Jeff! I've never fished the area but I'll feel my way around. Probably look for other people soaking lines.

Would love to see some Dolphin and whales while I'm out too. I just love being on the water.
