CI Harbor 3/25

Headed to the harbor to try to build the paddling muscles up a little. After 2 laps and 4 beers around the harbor noticed some pelicans diving at the harbor entrance and couldnt resist the itch so I grabbed the sabiki and 270 to see what I could find.
Long story short, found nothing.
Once I got back in the water after throwing the gear in the kayak realized the batt. on the ff was dead, lesson learned. Got over to where the pelicans WERE diving and tried to make bait for about an hour but got nothing. Decided to toss a swimbait after that but second cast my phone rang and it was the gf wanting her car back. Oh well, ill get 'em next time.

I never had much luck with swimbaits in the harbor. Cut squid usually did the trick!

Depending on your kayak, I've seen some cool bike trailers that could get you to the water.
