Do you have recommendation for a charter boat?

A buddy and I are looking to do a 1/2 day or full day fishing trip the weekend January 5th out of SD. We don't want to do the 50 person cattle boat style fishing. We want a lot less people. And if anyone wants to join, maybe we could get enough people to rent an entire boat and do our own thing. Maybe get a keg!

Any recommendations on boats outta San Diego area?

Thanks,

Icelog

Ernie on the Chubasco II. Great boat great crew. Booger on the San Diego is a no brainer. JD on the Fisherman III down at H&M is another go-to for me as well real funny captain. But remember rockfish closures in Jan... you'll probably be hunting sculpin and white croaker. Unless you got a dedicated group wanting to target the bigger kine.
