Aren't you just miles from the Bass Pro Shop there? You should be able to pick up one pretty cheap.

I've learned my lesson about buying Transducers used, and it didn't pan out well. I recommend going new and then you know there aren't any issues, and it's warrantied.

I'll +1 that. Bought my FF used, and the temp reading has never worked. Didn't realize it until I got on the water. Bad transducer.

Yes I will admit that I am only a few miles away from the bass pro shop. I wanted to try and get a used one first local and save a few bucks. But with your experince with one I may just brake down and get a new one. Thanks for looking out.

For every " I got burned buying used" story there are 30 guys enjoying used equipment they purchased which allowed them to extend their fishing dollar.

I love buying things used, but when it comes to transducers for my FF I go new from now on. I love used fishing reels, rods, kayaks, etc...

I don't hear you bitching, so it must work. Or you are just full of BS just to see your self on the board time and time again

I learned my lesson after I sold that to you when I bought a Humminbird from a friend. I hope it works well for you though.
