Hbird 500 series problems

The sonar reading on my Hbird 500 series is not showing. I still see the DI read, depth, temp, etc. But no sonar signal. Well the 455 gives a weak, unreadable pixalated line but nothing at 200. Is it the head unit or the tranny? I remounted the tranny (used a grease mount), so maybe its the wires or a defect inside it or the head unit. Simulation mode works fine.

I hate to say this happened after I was trying to use the PC and an SD card to modify the waypoints on the unit--but that could be coincidental.

Before I send the unit and/or tranny back to Johnson for repair, any one in SD area that has a 500 series Hbird would let me do a quick test of my head unit on their yak? Don't need water; just shooting into the floor should be good enough for a quick comparsion to your unit.

PM me.

Thanks, Tim
