Outback vs. Revolution
Why do you want the outback instead, just wondering i'd heard that the revolution was a better faster boat.

They are faster but the Outback is has more stability because it is wider

the revolution, A lot less stable? Moderately? How do they handle in the big water, open ocean? landing bigger fish?

Ther Revo is fast, handles well in the open ocean, but is a wet ride at times, it will punch thru the surf but you better hit the wave straight on. As far as stability goes pretty decent I can stand and cast in calm water. The Outback is half as stable as a PA, the Revo a quarter. Good deals on both boats, If I were looking for another Revo one of these would be it.

Moderately I would say , The Revo handles well and is good while fighting fish, Actually I fell out while turning around to reach something behind me, then could not get back in , I think I feel more comfortable on the Outback , but otherwise I have nothing bad to say about the Revo it is a great boat, I have had both, but for me Im going back to a little more stability over the extra speed.

I hope you sell them, but why not just take the plunge and get the PA? If you get what you're asking, or even remotely close to it, that's the stable one you should be eyeing! Trust me, you'll be happy with that Outback but you'll still have the PA in the back of your mind (unless, of course, physical limitations prevent you from toting the PA around).

I used Roby's Revo once, I felt the difference in stability immediately. The revo isn't necessarily faster, it's only as fast at the person peddling the kayak. I'd compare it to two stock cars, put a pro in one and an amateur in the other and who's going to win?
