I don't know how to catch crabs
i know a rocky artificial structure spot in 80ft of water that i will try next time.. but i'm definitely bringing a fishing rod because crabbing is freaking BORING. also.. the kelp is full of these little krill-like things. i wanted to scoop a bunch to feed my saltwater fish, but i was afraid of the bacteria and parasites that would kill my fish, so i didnt take any.

almosted tasted like king crab. i guess you could say bonito is poor man's tuna and spider crab is poor man's king crab.
i also used all of the meat inside of the shell. my parents never waste any meat. we used that for eggrolls. awesomeee

Crabs
Vincent, PM me or email (jim@sabaslayer.com) and I'll get you on some good eating Rock Crabs that don't require a framing hammer to open, like the Spider Crabs do!

That was me out there. Sorry the crabbing didn't go better. Like I said the place where I have seen them is way inside. A little too much swell for that while we were out. Bummer, because it is a great place to catch bass as well. Better luck time.
