So..... Anyone eat their leftover bait?

Saw Anchovies on Masterchef the other night and did a quick search on recipes. This looks pretty good. Any issues with eating the leftover Sardines?

I'm guessing that so long as they go straight to ice it shouldn't be an issue.

You can defiantly eat them if you wanted too. I have met a few people at Crystal Pier in PB, and all they go there for is to catch sardines to take home to eat. I love taking home my left over squid home from LJ and frying it up.

I take fat Green back macs and squid home pretty often. The green backs can be butterfly fileted and are actually quite good

One name comes to mind....Yani...but there are many great ideas and recipes
in here...I still think we should have a cook book thread like the "innovations"
thread to keep referring back too,,,

Calamari, Red Sauce, Fresh Herb, Red pepper flakes, sliced mini sweet peppers, cayenne powder and some garlic over past is delicious!

Cleaning the squid gets a little tedious, but once you get a system down its not too bad.

Just DO NOT over cook your squid.
