Just need 3 things.
Duck tape superglue and zip ties. Those 3 items are essential to life and will fix anything! |

Just curious, did you call promar at all? When I broke my sabiki, they sent me the part I needed to replace. I only paid shipping. Pretty good customer service. I have the same net in my hatch. I've never used it, but just keep it there incase DFG ver wants to push the issue of a net!

cheap fix for George's net under 4 bucks
Go to Home Depot and buy 2 > 1/2 " grey PVC electrical sweep 90's from the electrical dept. Make a small cut the looped portion of the net and remove broken plastic and slide the new one sweep 90 on it. Drill 2 holes through the 90
and shaft and cable tie the 90 to the shaft using "thick" cable ties. Use a piece of 65lb spectra to repair the net hole. Now repeat on the other side if you want it to match and start fishing and continue to pass out the halibut fillets as a backlog is forming and guys are starting to gamble outside the stock market now.... |

You don't need a net Jorge, just stow the broken one in case of inspection,
all your butts are gaff size anyways... But I probably would take Erick up on his offer....
