Dana Report

Water is much warmer.

Today, went north to the kelp. Fished the inside water of strands beach. Where were the rest of you? WFO (not really).

1 lizard fish
1 sculpin
1 short halibut
1 black sea bass

On the sea bass. . . what an experience. So far this fish is my PB. It was a short toad. Had a lot of fight, kelp is no fun. But it all worked out.

All released to live another day.

Sounds like a fun day. will probably fish the headlands this Friday as well, I'd be stoked to fight a beast like that!

No stripe makes for a good day in my book. Surprised you didn't get any bass though.
