FYI I fish down la paz area and have fished the cape a lot. Crocs work good for the smaller fish. If I had to choose one lure for larger fish. Would go with a salas 6 heavy blue and white.

Yeah, I tried that for a short period as well......apparently there are some Wahoo that have been around the boats that are moored for about 7 years and they don't want to bite anything (according to one of the guides). Was awesome to see off the side of the yak though I should have thrown around the blue and white surface iron as well. Next time going to head back in the month of June or October

South Swell
You'll be getting some south swell tomorrow from the hurricane off mainland mex. maybe you should run down to nine palms for some warm water surf.

Bait is hard to make in southern Baja....a daisy chain with a rapala on the end usually attracts something.....with a beautiful beach and water like that I wouldn't care if I caught or not.
Great pics.....thanks for sharing Tom. |
