LJ 3/29PM 3/30AM

Launched into some ugly surf at 4:30pm Thursday. No bait to be found deep or along the kelp until 5:30, then just a pick of spanish. Birds got active around 6:15 and the bait got thick around sunset, but nothing came of it. Had the place to myself the whole time till I landed around 9:00. No current. Dumbass in a sailboat was heading out of the cove in the dark with no running lights. Ahhh, summertime (not even, WTF!).

Launched just before 6:00am Friday morning, headed straight out. Took a while but managed to round up some spanish and a greenie. No current. Stayed out till 10:00 as the weather was beautiful but the lack of current keeps it slow. Trying again tonight and maybe tomorrow morning.

time on the water.

Better luck next time.

It was nice meeting you, Adi and Brent at the Fred Hall show. See you on the water soon (still recovering from shoulder surgery).

Brad,
Was that the same sailboat anchored in the kelp this morning? After seeing you this morning, I paddled back to the kelp just in time to see something real nice!
