mussel cove?

i seem to remember people talking about launching at salt creek and mussel cove. how do you get down to mussel cove? i havent gone and walked around there but from the maps and google images theres no trails in sight.

be a real long haul unless you have access to monarch beach community then you could drive to the parking lot at the beach club and cut a long distance of having to wheel your kayak down the hill at salt creek and then north.

If i remember correctly you would have to carry your kayak a decent ways over the rocks around the point to what "shell beach" as weve always referred to it. Most of the swell gets knocked down in that area unless its the perfect direction so launch would be pretty easy once you got there.
have fun getting there though.

i think were talking about the same beach?
