Where do you fish in La Jolla?

I bought a new application for my phone (Navionics) and have been marking my fishing spots in the Carlsbad area and the restricted boundaries in La Jolla. I have never fished La Jolla and actually don't know when I will but I read everything and look at the awesome pictures that are posted on BWE and am curious about where the fishing actually takes place. I know this is kinda like asking someone at the track what horse their betting on but I'm not asking for secret spots just a general idea to better understand . You can PM me if you want to answer that way but any information will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike.

Follow the crowds, watch the tides, and pay attention to what others may or may not be doing... It takes time. I've been at it for a year know and just watching, listing, and spending time on the water goes along way...
