3/12 pm shift

Launched at 3:00 to absolutely no surf and a light breeze. Decided to not spend time on bait, just trolled a rapala and 7" fishtrap around the kelp all the way around the point and south about a mile or so. Turned around and worked my way back around in 80 - 90'. Saw Ken out on Pat's and paddled over to sey hey. Kept working the plug back in when I finally paddled over a nice baitball. Made 4 macs on the 1st drop and slow trolled a mac from about 5:30-7:00. No takers. Beautiful summer day out there. Water felt warmer - 1st trunk day of the year for me.

Thanks for the info. I'm hitting it tonight. It's been 3 months. That's just my kind of surf.

Different afternoon Tuesday, tons of relentless south wind and fog that just hung 1/4 mile offshore, but never socked in. Nothing for me.

This is paddling out at 3PM
