Bought a fishing pole from a tourist!

While all I caught today was a bunch of bait I did buy a fishing pole from a tourist! When I first got to the launch I saw a couple of anglers going out through the big waves. One was very unlucky in that he was hit and flipped by someone on a rental kayak. Sad to see a person loose gear because of someone else’s mistake.

My friend and I made it out, made bait, and that was about it. When I came in a young man and his mom came up to me and offered to sell me a fishing pole! I gave him 20 bucks and told him I would try to get in touch with the owner. If you were the person who lost this pole and can describe it please PM me.

Owner Found!

Good for you, Greedy tourist

First of all I can't believe the tourist sold you the rod instead of giving it to you, knowing someone had just lost it. When I was heading back in a nice couple warned me about the surf and mentioned Kevin had flipped d/t someone in a rental. I assume he meant The Kid, so I am sure he would love to get back his setup. Anyhow, good work!
