Yep, the Marina Del Rey Flyer will do it, but it will cost you a bit.

I was planning on floating in the harbor with a tow rope a case of beer and a big catalina or bust sign. But if there's a ferry sweet. If you're looking for company keep me in the loop.

If you're planning a trip in the summer I'm in,I usually do this trip on my sea doo .it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to tow 5 kayak behind my seadoo.i have two seadoosyou figure at ten knots an hr we will be there in 2 1/2 hrs the rest can take the ferry and gear.I'm all for it.

Contact Catalina Flying Boats based at Long Beach Airport.

I have had them ship my kayak and gear to Avalon for about ten years now. I have paid anywhere between $.35 lb to $.45lb. You will need to drop off your stuff a couple of days early so they will have time to get your yak from the airport to the shipping office in Avalon.

This will not work very well for a weekend trip since the office to pick up your yak is not open till 9am on Saturday and closed on Sunday when you need to ship your stuff back.

If you have some days off there is no better way to fish the island. I have had some epic YT fishing 10mins out of the harbor.

If you have more ?'s just reply to this thread i'll never notice it if you PM me
