Xducer on a OK Trident help

Might be able to make a mount for that pretty simple. Cut off the threaded intake tube from an old through-hull bait pump. Use a rivet or nut and bolt through the holes on your Xducer and a couple matching holes through the threaded pipe. Use the tapered plastic nut and rubber seal that comes with the through-hull pump to cinch it into place. Then just feed the wire through the tube. I would cut the tube off flush with the top of the tapered nut and keep the tube open to allow water to drain. I can provide some pics if you need them.

Use something like this, or you can mount your transducer inside your Kayak. There's a non permanent way to mount the ducer inside the yak using electrical putty. If you want to use the putty trick let me know I can hook you up.

GregAndrew - thanks for the idea. Thinking something in the landscape dept. at home depot might have those threaded pipes.
JZ123 - I saw that device too - just not clear enough to see if it will work with the xducer or not. |
