Polyethylene
From what I have been reading, you cannot succsessfully 'paint' on PE. I was going to try Krylon Fushion to see if that would work. Anyone know of another brand/type? Note: I don't care about the paint scratching off from daily use. I just want it to adhere and be somewhat impermeable to salt water. Thanks! Jason |

I had pretty good results with the krylon fusion on a kayak a couple years back. Just do your due dilligence in the prep work. I wouldnt reccomend doing it, but it can be done.

There's always vinyl. My buddies owns
http://www.bluewaterboatlettering.com/ I've had my name installed since September as his first test on the durability of the vinyl on a Yak, which gets beat up every time I'm out and is in constant contact with Salt water. So far, so good ! . . . . |
