I heard that it used to cost $17 to get in and $5 for the kayak: $22

Now it cost $22 and your kayak is free, or is it?

Whatever the cost to get in from previous years Irvine always charged some extra $$$ for float tubers and kayakers. Now both are free to launch.

$20 that there will be a Blue Xfactor getting escorted from the lake.

That lake just aint big enough for Frank.

Getting pretty excited boys, we only need 3 or 4 more guys to make it pay for my new G Loomis 8 foot rod.

Attention:

I'm in the process of getting us a group rate. We could each get in to the lake for $17. I will post an update by tonight and also pm kayakers that are attending.

I thought you were saving up to get rid of that thing that's growing on the back of your neck.

We don't all have to be at the lake at the same time. Just show up between 6-7am and you're good.

We were able to get a group discount for 17 adults at $17 per admission. There is no kayak launch fee. I will pre-pay the total tomorrow morning. When you get to the lake tell the staff you are with the "Money Between Friends Kayak Fishing Tournament." The staff will check your name off on a list (do not pay the staff). You will then go to the kayak launch parking lot (in front of the tackle store) and get your sticker from me and pay me for the lake entrance and $$$ for the MBF.

I will be in a white Nissan Frontier truck (Olive Hobie Revolution).
(213) 663-5243

Total: $17 + $10 = $27

* Guys that are camping on Friday night: tell the Irvine Staff the same thing. On Saturday morning you can pick up your sticker and pay $$ for the MBF in the same way.

** The 18th person on the list will not get a discount.

Both your boys would have kicked butt at Irvine.....maybe next time.

The weather looks terrific. The lake was just stocked on Thursday and Friday and the water temps dropped to 57 degrees. Good luck everyone!!!
