April Seabass
Sunny day with beautiful conditions. Mackerel and sardines were feeding
in 40-50 feet of water on the way out, so I decided to give the WSB a try today. Eventually I saw a few tanker cruisers in the clear water, and a even huge yellowtail checking out my offering as well. Finally one managed to eat the wrong lunch ...

Nice job!!
But the gaff in the first pic looks to be in a dangerous location. |

Strong work on the WSB!
I didn't even notice the gaff until old rookie pointed it out. Be careful with that thing. |

... amid the confusion, I gaffed myself in the a$$ and STILL got the fish!
Actually, that didn't happen. The gaff is well buried inside the fish, and, pointing away from me but I admit that I am very hesitant to remove the gaff, ever! Do not try this at home - gaffs, well they are sharp! |

Great seminar at Fred Hall, Larry...
As they say, proof's in the pudding; looks like you knew what you were talking about after all.

Josh, glad that tip worked OK for you ( ... and friends). YOU have been
more than helpful with information in the past when it counts and I appreciate it. Well maybe I know what I'm talking about but hey I also got a low- resolution slideshow that turned out kinda cool, especially since this one practically JUMPED. I'm considering posting the video too. WSB Battle Slideshow: http://s4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...view=slideshow

Nice WSB. Looks like he's got 3 or 4 of your usual Reds in his belly.
