Finished my grandpa's calcutta...
Finally finished the Calcutta rod.I added his name into the butt wrap.I also added pics of my hand wrapper so people interested in wrapping would get the idea of how they work.Also one pic with a bend in the rod showing the typical lack of sensitivity at the tip.The rod has great backbone though.Same material that the tuna lift poles were made from.I cant wait to fish it.

very cool! Now you'll have to go catch a fish on the rod as another tribute to your grandpa.

looks awesome. love the bendo shot too. that'll really put a hurt on some fish.
I've been meaning to do a couple of rods with my son. the hand wrapper ought to work fine. waiting on a fishing report. |
