Plastic Lure Donation need for San Diego Scout Fair 2011

Hi Guys

Our Cub scout Pack is running the Fishing Belt loop at the San Diego Scout Fair. We have about 500 plus boys learn rules and regulations about fishing. How to bait a hook and practice casting into the ponds we sent up. This is sometimes the first time a boy gets to learn about fishing.

I have a donation for the hooks from Gamakatsu USA, but still need some plastics for the boys to use. The event is on the 16th of April at Qualcomm and is open to the public. If you know of anyone in the industry that can donate 250 night crawler size plastic worms, please pm me.

We have a non-profit tax id and can give a letter of donation to the supplier.

Thanks

Steve

Thanks. If you can loan me a banner for OEX, I'll hang it up in our booth.

Here's the scoop. We had over 300 cub scouts, plus little brothers, and sisters come through our Fishing Beltloop Booth at Scout Fair last week. The kids learned about the rules and regulations, practiced casting and used plastic worms and powerbait. All the kids walked away betterinformed and better at casting. The girls seriously had much better control at casting. There were a lot of boys using the baseball bat casting technique.

A Big Special Thanks to:

Fish and Game
for setting me up with over 300 Fishing passports.

Gamakatsu USA
provided the hooks.

CJ from OEX
set us up with plastics for the kids to bait the hooks.

The amount of enjoyment was unbelievable. We were the last booth to shutdown at 4:15.

Take your kids fishing!
