New apex 1 seats? - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

I have two Apex seats..one with the new plastic snaps and one of the older models with the removable and changeable brass straps. I bought the new one at the Malibu sale thinking it would be an improvement but I think it may be a step backward...I just pulled the 'new' one out of the plastic and discovered this...now I'm bummed.

Whatever the problem is, I would be happy to replace it.

Hey Andy...I know you would and thanks for offering. It's really not that big of deal..I'll keep it around as a backup or something, I was just surprised yesterday when I realized it.
