I want to Rockfish Wednesday March 9th

I am new Kayaking but certainly not new to fishing. I do not know the best place to go for an easy launch with reasonable bottom fishing. Any help would be appreciated. I would love to join anyone that would have me as well.
I just got the Hobie Mirage Outback, and ready to get the stink off it!

If you are in the San Diego area, you can try the La Jolla Shores boat launch.
Paddle west past the yellow bouys, make bait, or drop a line with squid in or near the kelp and you are set.

Awsome Thank you. I am coming from Lake Elsinore so I am not far from any Southern Cali spots.

Every time I drive by Lake Elsinore I wonder how the fishing is there. Have you tried it?

I do not fish there. I am an Ocean guy and rarely fish fresh water, Mammoth only actually. From what I understand there are stripers in Lake Elsinore.

Do not even think about fishing Elsinore. Just don't. There are many, many better options out there.

For example: Any body of water other than Lake Elsinore.

Exception: Carp fishing. (yummy)
