Fish Finder help
Ok gents... DOWN SCANING IMAGINING or your standard dual frequency side scaning sonar?
any opinions on this? im looking at the Lowarance Elite 5DSI and some other FF by lowrance... is anyone using any of the elite series?? |

I am using the standard Elite 5. Not real happy with the performance of the GPS on mine. I can turn a 180 and paddle a couple hundred feet before it realizes I have turned in some situations.

You may want to find out if there is an update you need for your unit. A buddy of mine has a Garmin that was doing that and needed an upgrade to his device for it to track correctly.

that sucks about the GPS man.. hopefully youll get that worked out... as far as the fish finder part hows the quality?
