Which hoop?

Promar deluxe with the wider ring on top or eclipse with the wider ring on bottom? I understand the concepts (I think) but is one style really more effective?
Reason I ask is Turners has sale tomorrow $14.98 for deluxe- looks ready to go for $14.98 plus add bait cage, or eclipse for $21 but needs to be rigged and add bait cage.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I believe its all about what you're comfortable with. Two season ago I converted all my eclipse to flats and I'm still catching lobster. Two weeks ago I was hooping next to someone that was using eclipse nets, I was using flats....at the end of the night I went 3 for 6 and my partner went 0 for 1. Could've of been the bait, could've been the location....tuff to say but I guess numbers don't lie.
