OK Scrambler Kayak
I have my eye on a scrambler Kayak that does not have any hatches installed, is installing hatches possible for the scrambler Kayaks? I see two areas where hatches could have been installed and wondered if I could cut in those areas.
Before I buy I want to know what I can do. Thanks all. |

Yes. The 2 areas can be cut and hatches installed. I did it on my first kayak in 1985 and it is still working for my son.

Jimmy, is it a Scrambler, Scrambler XL, or Scrambler XT? The XT is a decent fishing boat but the others are not probably the best for you. Plus those Gaspachi hatches run like 60.00 each and are the only thing thatll fit there.
I have 12 used boats right now at Mission Bay. Shoot me a PM or email and lets figure out what your budget is. Im sure we can get you into something better for a good price. But if you do end up buying it, I have the hatches and if you come in on a day im here ill install the hatches free if you buy them from us. |
