Nice Butt...Did you actually hook the halibut? One time I had one hold on to a small sand bass in the bay all the way to the kayak without having the hook in him. They are frickin mean suckers.

I want a halibut that can take a 10'' perch in one bite. The bite off the beach is great right now. Leopard sharks, perch, etc. I can not keep my bait on the hook long enough to get a big butt.
