hows the yt,wsb bite
we live in riverside ca and we love fishing in lj cove. most of the time we fish newport because of location. we have been fishing atleast twice a week but have not been to lj for for several weeks now,tomorrow we are going fishing and are deciding were to go.can anybody tell me how has the fishing been in la jolla lately.has there been yt or wsb bite lately?

You might be mistaken when you say "LJ cove" as that would be illegal, it's preserve. Fishing the kelp beds of LJ has been extremely SLOW lately, even slow for us spearfishermen. I was out last night, COLD (63 degrees) and not much bait. It was definitely hot for a while but it's not now. Hope that helps for your drive.

i went out this morning not much WSB or yellow tails but there was lots of bait

Hey Ryan.....are you the one that was in the green Tarpon? I'm was in the yellow Prowler. I only got one hook on a decent size mack, caught, fought and released a huuuuuuuge batray.
