Mulege
Been down here for 10 days and I've been able to fish 6. Saw alot of yellowtails at Chivato but no luck so far....the one day I missed, I was sick and a PB'er ran into a school of "thousands" of 10-12 lbers and they filled their ice chest. Drove to the other side of Punta Concepcion (3 hrs. from the highway on a 4wd road.) and camped in an old mine site for 4 days. Found a point just 10 min. paddle from camp and worked a drop off for multiple pargo to 15lb, 8-10lb cabrilla and some leather jacks mixed in. Saw thousands of birds working about 2 miles out one day after I was too tired to chase 'em...literally 2 miles of birds....going back over for the next calm period. Still got 11 fishing days left and the new moon is around the corner.

have you tried the river for black snook? I have heard stories of big ones in there.

The world record snook is said to be in that river. Right now would be the time to look since the bugs are light.
