Waterproof VHF....so cheap ! any comment ?

If it is not Submersible, than I would not consider getting this VHF for a kayak, I clicked on the link, but didn't see any specifications.

Dont cheap out on life saving equipment. Your PFD and Radio should be quality.
Go Standard Horizon. The new 751HX is Sweet. |

3 watts is low too. It would not give you much range.

5 watts minimum for good performance.
I have the ICOM M-34 Floating. Its a good unit and goes on sale from time to time. |
