Squidco is my favorite. Joey and his team really know their stuff and are great to deal with.

SQUIDCO duh!! Haha they'll help you with anything you need to know. They've also got the best prices in town.
Anglers Arsenal in La Mesa is also an extremely good shop, but they are more geared for freshwater. The only one to avoid is Angler's Choice on Rosecrans. Poor service, and a rather unfriendly attitude toward anyone not buying a $300 rod or reel. But that's only my opinion.

I'd have to say that Squidco is the best. I couldn't even count how many times I've been in there and I always have a good shopping experience. The staff are very knowledgeable and the are unfailingly polite and helpful.

Squidco is the best.
Angler's Choice is good as well, they have a large selection of gear and carry all the high end stuff. They also have some deals if you look - I got $100 off my last Jig Stick purchase. You don't see that everyday. Dana Landing has quality rods, you get what you pay for. $$$ Seaforth has all the irons in stock, but they are a few dollars more that others. |
