Big swell bugs
Got on the water last night after work for some yak buggin with my buddy Theo (knotmyfish) The big swell made for some interesting hooping on the yaks.....but it was a beautiful night with a big moon and no wind at all. We had to paddle out against the tide (which sucked) but it was a nice sunset as we were leaving the channel and the anticipation of hoops stuffed with bugs made the paddle worth it..
A few sneaker sets of waves came through and made things interesting. I have never seen the waves break close to where we were like that. A little bit of a pucker factor but I think it helped the buggin. Hooped until 10pm and managed :lobs ter: Theo wasn't doing as well so I gave him some super secret bait and he got a couple of keepers after that. The paddle back was uneventful and very quiet. Just an awesome night with a good fishing buddy, cigar, cervesa, big moon, no wind and BUGS!!!!!!! __________________ |

Nice Job Sherm. The back is slow healing. Gotta get it drained today. Hopefully in a couple of weeks. I saw the tidal swings that have been going on and knew it was going to be a good time to go.

I don't know what's prettier - the color of the sky or the color of your haul Scott
