Big Rock, quick mid day run....
Launched at 11:15, back in at 1:30. Paddled way out past the surface kelp, and trolled a CD14 for 1/2 hour above the submerged kelp, praying for a miracle....moved in a bit more shallow, on the inside of the kelp straight out from Windansea and pounded sand with a dropshot fluke hoping for a flatty...no flat ones, but got some calicos, a sandy AND bonus juvie WSB.
Water color was vastly improved over yesterday, and the temp seemed up a degree or two. Hilly, but glassy. Dan |

Thanks for the report, Dan. Thinking about bugging out of work for a late afternoon WSb hunt and some hoopin.
