Lake fishing 09/09/09

Was slow.
Launched at o'dark thirty and started paddling...

and paddling....

and paddling

Boils were few and far between. Got into a few. But all the freaking stripers were crossed eyed. They couldnt connect with my LC popper. Kept freaking missing!

Changed tactics. Went with a yak trick. Flutter and whack FW style

BAM!

Chunky beast.

And that was that. Darn LMB's were blitzing by 10 and put a dampener on my flutter and whackin d stripers Caught 4 LMBs, around 12 inches.
Till next time.....

The shots were taken yesterday. When the gates opened, there was a line as long as a city block. Half boats, half shore fishermen. There were quite a few boats on the lake. But you can't see more that 3 at any one time.
