It's weird but I was out at LJ and it was pretty empty out on the water. Beach was packed though.

LJ was dead because the fishing was dead.....plus everyone is killinn the YF, YT's, and dodos right out of our reach....

The sea lions were out in full force...stealing my bait. I saw a boat get a yellow and heard from the rental guys that a kayaker came in with one.

I made the same mistake on Memorial Day. About two hours of peace then all hell broke loose and wake waves were breaking over the bow.
I learned my lesson this holiday weekend and went south of the border . . . a bunch of nice YFT made the long boat ride with a bunch of very sick people pretty enjoyable. JK |
